Syria Documents: Nasrallah sent message to reassure Israel

Leaked documents reveal details of meeting between Syrian and Russian officials

London, Asharq Al-Awsat—Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah sent an indirect message to Israel last year in which he described Lebanon’s southern border as “the safest place in the world,” seeking to reassure Tel Aviv that his Shi’a militia have no intention of taking any action against Israel, according to leaked documents seen by Asharq Al-Awsat.

In cooperation with the Masarat Center and the Wathaiq Dimashq [Damascus Documents] website, Asharq Al-Awsat has obtained a copy of the full transcript of a meeting between Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Bogdanov on May 23, 2013, in which the Syrian side passed along Nasrallah’s reassurances to Israel.

During the meeting Bogdanov told Mekdad that he had a three-hour midnight meeting with Sheikh Mohamed Raad and Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

According to Bogdanov, Nasrallah told him: “You can tell the Israelis that Lebanon’s southern borders are the safest place in the world because all of our attention is focused on what is happening in Syria,” confirming that Hezbollah “does not harbor any intention of taking any action against Israel.”

According to the leaked document, Mekdad inquired about the role that joint UN–Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi was playing regarding the Syrian crisis.

“[Brahimi] said there is no solution to the crisis because both sides [the government and the opposition] have adopted the military and security solution and do not have the desire to engage in a dialogue or reach a peaceful solution because they hope to achieve success militarily,” Bogdanov said during the meeting.

As for whether Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad intends to remain in power, Mekdad said: “President Assad . . . has become a basic need,” and without him “there would not be Syria . . . and the Syrian army would turn into terrorist gangs and fragmented factions.”

“Therefore, the main goal of the conference [Geneva I] should be stemming foreign intervention,” Mekdad added.

The meeting was also attended by a number of senior officials on both sides, including senior Syrian Foreign Ministry figure Ahmad Arnous and the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad, as well as the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s department for Middle East and North Africa, Sergey Vershinin.

The leaked document quotes Vershinin as asking Mekdad: “I will meet with the Israelis during my visit, do you want me to convey any message to the Israeli side?”

Mekdad answered: “There are no messages from us to the Israelis, particularly following the attack on Jamraya [military research center near Damascus] and Damascus International Airport, which despite being destructive, failed to achieve its objectives as there were no Hezbollah weapons there.”

“Our message to them is that we will not be silent in the face of any new attack. If next time they fire a rocket [into Syria], we will respond by firing several rockets [at Israeli targets],” Mekdad said.

“We will not allow them to exploit our situation and we will provide Hezbollah with the sophisticated weapons it needs,” he added.

Saudi Arabia and American Rapprochement with Iran

The American rapprochement with Iran after the nuclear deal on 24/11/2013 which almost reaches releasing Iran’s hands in the region, besides America’s position of the events in Syria that demonstrated his support for Bashar directly and indirectly… All of this impacts in Saudi Arabia, in particular the release Iran’s hands in the region. Iran is known for its use of sectarianism in each country it has a sectarian link to it, so as to raise tensions in that country. Seeing what happened in Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen… Saudi fears Iran’s moves in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia to affect destabilization of the ruling security… All this made Saudi strained and withdraws its membership in the Security Council, protesting against the actions of the international community, and of course they intended the United States, This is in addition to statements by some Saudi officials directing criticism at America about their positions…

While the west expresses “concern” over Muslims coming to Syria (for aid and jihad) from different parts of the world, it is completely silent on the influx of Neo-Nazis into Ukraine

Obama’s Options in the Suppression of ash-Sham’s Revolution

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Friday, 14/02/2014 that “President Barack Obama had again asked for U.S. policy options in Syria, but none have yet been presented to him.” Kerry told reporters, “Obama is concerned about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria and also that the peace talks between the opposition and the government had not produced a discussion of a transitional government as has been planned.” Kerry said, “As a result of that, Obama has asked all of us to think about various options that may exist or may not exist.”

It appears that Kerry and his President, Obama, are confused of the options available to subjugate ash-Sham revolution:

– The political solution stew is being prepared in the Geneva negotiations between America and his cronies of the criminal regime of Bashar, and the so-called political opposition represented by the National Coalition led by Jarba… Everyone, the distant and the near, knows for sure that Bashar does not reject any order from America, not in the handing over of the chemical weapons, nor in the slaughter of the revolting people in Syria. Also, everyone knows that Robert Ford is the guardian of the Coalition, which he created with his own hands. Hence, the Coalition would have only to obey the wishes of the High Commissioner in anticipation of a post thrown to them in the post- Assad era, as Britain did with the so-called Sharif Hussein and his son Faisal, in the distribution of the spoils after the demolition of the Khilafah state.

– Whereas, the actual negotiation is taking place in the fields of Syria, where Obama is confused in the adoption of the options necessary to impose its solution on the honorable and the firm revolution of ash-Sham: should he resort to Scud Missiles, or to explosive barrels, or to chemical weapons? Or is Iran, and its followers who raise the Karbala Revolution slogan against injustice and evil-doers, able to subdue the revolutionaries of ash-Sham for Uncle Sam (who was quick to extend a lifeline to the Iranian regime through the nuclear deal and began pumping hundreds of millions of dollars to the treasury of Iran to be able to finance its war in Syria), under the banner of combatting apostasy (Takfir) terrorism?

– But the answer came in Dar’aa: Added to the above-mentioned options, are car bombs exploding in crowds of Friday worshipers coming out of the prayer; as happened yesterday in the town of Yadodeh- Daraa, where the regime’s agents planted a car bomb that exploded after Friday prayers leading to the martyrdom of 32 worshipers and wounding dozens, some of whom are in critical condition.

– And we do not rule out that among the options is issuing out of Fatwas from some of the ‘Sheikhs’ on the prohibition of turning against the guardian (Wali ul Amr). When the political stew is cooked with Washington all that is needed is a fatwa from the Saudi intelligence and needs only the guardian’s initiation. While, the call to swear allegiance to a Khaleefah who governs by the Laws of Allah and end the bloodshed in the land blessed by the Truthful, the Almighty, in ash-Sham, is “a blind sedition “Fitnah”” that the scholars of Sultan distant themselves from it for fear of angering the Wali ul Amr. Whereas, defying the Lord of the universe is subject to considerations by them; they are keen to “life”, whatever the state of humiliation and indignation of the Mighty.

There is good atop good in all this; the ash-Sham revolution has exposed the truth about the American enmity for Muslims, and the truth of its production in the coalition, and the hypocrisy of the Iranian regime, the owner of “the Great Satan slogan”. It also revealed the quackery of the “sheikhs” of the Gulf, who croak and give fatwas only to the satisfaction of their Wali ul Amr, which lead to their destruction in the world and the Hereafter…

The Ummah’s only option is to derive the reasons for victory from the Causer of the reasons, and beseech in sincere servitude and submission to the Lord of the Worlds, and then to engage in the hard and glorified work with the faithful to establish the second Khilafah on the method of Prophethood… The Lord of Glory says and His Saying is the truth:

وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

“And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

(Ali-Imran: 126)

And the promise of the Truthful, the Glorified:

وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِن بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ

“And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants”.

Inside the hellhole of Yarmouk, the refugee camp that shames the world

Tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees trapped in a Syrian camp by the war are enduring appalling conditions that ought to concern all of us. Christopher Gunness, spokesman for the UN relief effort, says humanitarian aid must be stepped up

The lexicon of man’s inhumanity to man has a new word – Yarmouk. The camp, on the edge of Damascus, was once the bustling, vibrant heart of the Palestine refugee community in Syria, where 160,000 Palestinians lived in harmony with Syrians of all stripes. Over the past six months, it has become synonymous with infant malnutrition, women dying in childbirth for lack of medical care and besieged communities reduced to eating animal feed – all this in the capital city of a UN member state in the 21st century. Yarmouk sums up the tragic, profound suffering of civilians in the Syria conflict. It should not have to.

This tragedy has a human face. Khaled, aged 14 months, is a war child. He was born as Syria’s pitiless conflict engulfed Yarmouk: armed opposition groups entered the camp and government forces responded by encircling it. Trapped with his parents and four siblings, he has seen more suffering in his short life than most of us will experience in a lifetime.

Khaled embodies Syria’s tragic conflict, but also the opportunities that we must grasp. He would probably be dead had it not been for Dr Ibrahim Mohammad of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), who treated him for a severe form of malnutrition known as kwashiorkor, caused by a prolonged lack of protein. He also had symptoms of rickets.

“When I first saw Khaled he looked like a five-month-old,” says Mohammad. “He was about to die. Khaled had survived on water and almost no solid food for two months.”

When asked about life in Yarmouk, Khaled’s mother Noor, 29, becomes agitated. “Hell would be better,” she says. “We boiled spices with water and drank it. We ate grass until all the grass was gone.”

When Noor gave a birth to Khaled at home, she was able to breastfeed him, but with her poor diet her milk stopped after two months. Cow’s milk smuggled into the camp was prohibitively expensive and no powdered milk was available. Khaled went without. He was lucky. Noor says her four-month-old niece starved to death.

“Everyone assumed they would soon be dead because of hunger or shelling,” she says. “Death was everywhere. One of my neighbours died in childbirth. The midwife was called away mid-birth, to assist another woman, and when she returned, my neighbour had bled to death.”

There are many Khaleds and many more Noors in Yarmouk. UNRWA workers have encountered them every morning since 18 January, when the Syrian authorities allowed UNRWA to take in food. Each day, crowds of gaunt figures await the distribution team on Rama Street, at the northern edge of the camp. After their ID cards are checked, some of them go across no man’s land, defined by opposing sniper positions, and join the long queues to the distribution area.

The wait is stressful and exhausting. At the end of each day, once darkness falls and the UN distribution team returns to its base in Damascus, hundreds of civilians, in a visible state of desperation, fatigue and anguish, return to their harsh existence inside Yarmouk, many of them with nothing. On our best day, 30 January, we delivered more than 1,000 food parcels, each containing enough supplies to feed a family for about two weeks. On more difficult days, we have managed as few as 26 or as many as 645. War is no respecter of need.

As with all humanitarian work in conflict, rewards are small, frustrations are manifold and danger is everywhere.

On 14 January, an UNRWA relief convoy of six trucks with food for 6,000 people, along with 10,000 doses of polio vaccine and other medical supplies, left our main warehouse in Damascus. We were required to use the southern entrance to Yarmouk. This meant the convoy had to drive 20km through an area of intense conflict, in which numerous armed opposition groups, including some of the most extreme jihadist organisations, have a strong and active presence.

Citing security concerns, the Syrian authorities did not permit UNRWA to use the northern entrance to Yarmouk, which is under government control, and which is generally regarded as more likely to be accessible with relatively less risk.

As the convoy approached Yarmouk from the south, it was joined by a government security escort, which enabled the vehicles to reach the last government-controlled checkpoint. The convoy was cleared to go beyond and the Syrian authorities provided a bulldozer to clear the road of debris, earth mounds and other obstructions. However, as this was happening, the bulldozer was struck by gunfire and forced to withdraw, though with no casualties. Thereafter, bursts of gunfire, including heavy machine-gun fire, erupted close to the UNRWA vehicles. One mortar exploded close to the convoy. Our team withdrew, mercifully without casualties.

We were undaunted. Our humanitarian mission continues. Following successful access to Yarmouk on 18 January, we have now delivered more than 6,000 basic food parcels and 10,000 polio vaccines. This is not enough. We need more. We need secure, substantial and sustained access. And we need this for all civilians in Syria. There are many Yarmouks.

Let me end by returning to Khaled. Four weeks later, and he has been transformed with nutrition and medication. His lifeless face now carries a smile, his swollen abdomen and limbs look healthy thanks to the work of Mohammad. Today he weighs as much as an eight-month-old. He grew exponentially with modest assistance and with continued medical care. Our health department is confident he will reach the size and weight of a normal, healthy baby.

Nature will take its course, we hope, and perhaps with a nurturing, stable environment, eventually Khaled will achieve his full human potential. That remains our goal for him and for all our beneficiaries in Yarmouk and beyond. We must see Khaled’s rapid recovery and that of his mother Noor as symbols of hope, as symbols of our commitment to the people of Yarmouk and to all civilians in Syria.

Yarmouk has been a challenge to the humanity of all of us. UNRWA is rising to that challenge. We must all rise to that challenge. For while the people of Yarmouk and other civilians in Syria are deprived of their dignity, the dignity of all of us is diminished.

Perhaps ultimately the word Yarmouk can take on another meaning. Perhaps when the war is over, Yarmouk will come to be seen as an example of human compassion, where the pitilessness of war was overcome by the sheer force of human dignity.

TROUBLED HISTORY

■ Yarmouk was established in 1957 to accommodate an informal and largely tented area for Palestinians who had fled after Israel’s foundation in 1948. It is a built-up urban area, once home to 112,000 people, with schools, hospitals, apartment blocks and shops.

■ Palestinians in Syria have passports and some have served in senior government positions. Factions operating there have included Fatah; the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command; and Hamas, whose external office under Khaled Meshaal was based in Damascus for a decade.

■ Hamas’s refusal to support Bashar al-Assad’s regime against the rebels in 2011 saw Meshaal and other members of the external Hamas leadership quit Syria in 2012 for Qatar, leading to a breach with Shia Iran – one of Assad’s main backers – that had been supportive of the Sunni Hamas.

■ As the Syrian war intensified, Yarmouk struggled to remain neutral. There were clashes between those – some of them Sunni salafists –who supported the largely Sunni anti-government opposition and those who favoured staying out or who backed the regime dominated by Alawites, a Shia offshoot. Those supporting the opposition prevailed. As the population fled and the camp began to empty, the issue was settled as armed opposition groups moved in. The Syrian army then blockaded and bombarded Yarmouk. Peter Beaumont

Wrangling at the Geneva 2 conference and the future of Ash-Shaam

2:33 PM February 3, 2014 Leave a comment

The Geneva 2 conference has raised the stature of the Syrian regime and despite being engaged in the most brutal crimes against the Syrian people that have included every imaginable evil against the whole people including their children, women and elderly they have been presented as equal partners in these negotiations.

This current conference ended without any results or resolutions and was reported by news agencies to have ended in argument and sharp disagreement whilst Lakhdar Ibrahimi said that the talks were planned to resume on February the 10th. This indicates that the US and all those who support the unified position which has clearly established the aim of preserving the regime whilst bringing in some new faces from the supposed opposition, it indicates that they are not in a rush to see these negotiations come to a quick resolution. This is clear by the relaxed attitude of the Syrian regime which is speaking and acting as if no pressure is upon them.

It must be clear in everybody’s mind that both sides in these negotiations are firmly in the American camp. The regime has been protected up until now and been allowed to continue in its slaughters and merciless war against the Syrian people without facing any serious challenge or obstacles from outside. Indeed the policy of chemical weapon destruction has allowed Syria more time to fight the revolutionaries bringing as much slaughter, death, destruction and starvation as it desires whilst all world leaders can talk about is getting both sides to the table. They have even managed to turn the focus to fighting terrorism and raised that to a higher priority than removing or stopping the Asad regime!

The Syrian National Coalition on the other hand have already conceded that the regime will pretty much remain in place but have been promised by America that they will have a future in the rule. As such they are eager for the transition to take place however the US will continue to tell them that they are doing everything they can and that they need to remain patient until their promises come into fruition.

Whilst the US and the world behind it continue to play the games of Geneva and their like they will continue to attempt to weaken the revolutionaries on the ground by instigating fighting between the factions and by trying to divide them upon lines of being moderate and extremist. They will use their agents from inside and outside including the rulers of Turkey, Saudi, Kuwait, Iran, Jordan and Iraq to assist them in this, in addition to relying upon the media to focus on the real problem and enemy in Syria which is terrorism and Al-Qaeda etc…

When the US decides that the groundwork has been accomplished sufficiently inside Syria and outside Syria, it will quickly apply the required direction and pressure upon the Syrian regime and the opposition who will obey the commands of their master just as quickly and a resolution will be made which will be sanctioned by the world and declared as a groundbreaking peace deal. Anyone who then rejects this will then be labelled legally by the UN and by the media as an enemy of peace or extremist or terrorist and the whole world including the new Syrian regime (which will in reality still be the same old regime with a few new faces) will then declare a unified war against them in the name of peace.

This is the plan of the disbelieving US colonialist and the world order that it leads that gives no value to human life and the only justice they believe in is the one that guarantees that their interests will be preserved and their influences maintained to continue to control and exploit the Muslim lands. The Syrian regime is a secular regime and the US manufactured opposition represented in the Syrian National Coalition are calling for a secular regime and the whole world is unified and striving with all their efforts to derail the revolution in Syria which declared war on secularism, colonialism and the policies of Sykes and Picot and declared their allegiance to Allah (swt) and his Messenger (saw).

This is the plan of the enemies of Islaam and the Muslims but:

وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ

And they plot and Allah plots (as well) and Allah is the best of plotters (Al-Anfaal 30).

However the Muslims in Ash-Shaam have proven that they will not be an easy push over and even if the world as a whole has united against them and their revolution. There may be some who will compromise, make concessions and fall into the clutches of the enemy and indeed some already have but this revolution was established upon the basis of reliance upon Allah alone when they threw away the flags of Sykes Picot and raised the banner of Islaam and said: ‘O Allah we have none other than you O Allah’ and ‘We will never bow down to other than Allah’ and ‘Our leader forever is Muhammad Rasoolullah’. This revolution was for Islaam and you O Muslims of Ash-Shaam have sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah so we ask Allah (swt) to reward you with the highest rewards and to magnify them and we ask Allah (swt) to make you strong and firm on your Deen and to never compromise it and not even by a hairs breadth. If you do this then you will have the greatest abode awaiting you in the hereafter and you will also be hastening the downfall, demise and collapse of the enemies of the Deen by the permission of Allah (swt). On that day the believers will rejoice and their breasts will be healed when they hear the news of Allah’s victory that he has given to His servants with the reestablishment of His Deen, Shari’ah and Khilafah upon the path of the Prophethood.

In regards to the believers He (swt) said:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ

O You who believe! If you support Allah he will support you and make your foothold firm (Muhammad 7).

And in regards to Himself (swt) He said:

وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not (Yusuf 21).

#Syria #Geneva2: Syrian National Coalition announces its separation from the Syrian people and Dedicates its Loyalty to America by accepting Geneva 2

As expected, the miserable National Coalition headed by Al-Jarba, submitted to external pressures especially America and Russia to attend the meeting of its General Assembly in Istanbul on the 17th and 18th January 2014 CE. It accepted participation in the Geneva II Conference held on the 22nd January, despite the conspiracy by everyone in broad daylight against the Muslims of Syria; adding itself openly and officially to the list of co-conspirators, and undertaking the dirty role ascribed to it, to keep the rule of Syria under the hands of America; of which the expense will be the transition of power from Assad to Al-Jarba, who will receive the orders of America instead. The first of which will be the task of fighting the Islamic project. This was the focus of Assad, Iran, Russia and Western countries as well as the rulers of the Muslims, and even Al-Jarba and his mentor who taught him “magic”, the Communist Michel Kilo, who had said of the armed fundamentalist groups and the extent of their danger: “It is a fatal mistake to ignore them.”

On this central subject, Kerry recently said: “The conference will discuss the fight against terrorism as a priority in the agenda at hand.” And it could be argued that the most important at this conference are two issues: keep power in Syria under the hands of America, and to strike a fatal blow to the Islamic project which is represented by the establishment of the Khilafah system in Syria. This was announced by both impostors: the Foreign Minister of Syrian criminality, Al-Mu’alim, and the impudent Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, who confirmed this in more than one statement. The announcement of the approval of the National Coalition to attend Geneva II was accompanied by the news that the administration of President Barack Obama asked the Congress to study the allocation of nearly $50 million dollars for potential international peacekeepers in Syria in the annual budget framework. This indicates that the approval of the coalition may be obtained by America before the announcement, and that the approval is going according to the road map of the American solution, and this solution is to send international forces to be effective on the ground, as mentioned by Ibrahimi before, to be along the lines of the international forces in Afghanistan, ISAF the multinational US-led, and which carries out multi-purpose dirty roles, which include: the protection of the rule of the new “Karzai” of Syria, and strike the Islamic project which is pursued everywhere under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

America is pursuing the awakening of Muslims throughout the world and is working to distort and strike it. We can see the tragedies of Muslims that are widespread throughout the world. It dragged with it countries around the world including the Muslim rulers and now it is Syria’s turn. The issue is bigger than Syria; it is about bringing the Islamic project in Syria to an end, and to abort it before its birth. From here, they want to repeat the bitter experience of Afghanistan, and to indulge in the blood of Muslims with a new alternative ruler under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

We turn to the members of the National Coalition, who still have some good in them to work to expose the conspiracy of the coalition against the Muslims, and to work to destroy it from the inside with all their strength, may Allah forgive them for their sin and of affiliation to the National American Coalition.

We also turn to the militant groups and to the components and the dissident army officers, we urge you not to respond to the invitation to join the national army, which America intends to create from your ranks in order to use you along with the international forces, just as in Afghanistan to strike all that stands in the face of its project, or those who seek to establish a Khilafah. And work to unite your forces under project that supports the establishment of the Khilafah State as is required of you by the Shari’ah, and just as the Ansar of Allah and His Messenger did, the first who Allah was pleased with.

We also turn to the Muslims in Syria of Ash-Sham in general and to the people of influence in particular, you are facing a universal conspiracy and severe deception. America, the number one enemy of Islam, backed by the international community chose a handful of amateurs in politics to be your representatives in the National Coalition, and they are far from being fit to represent you. You are believers who want the rule of Islam while they are secularists and they put their hands in the hands of America to strike the Islamic project. Even the Islamists from among them are upon the Western methodology. You have sacrificed blood and they traded with it. You suffer hardship of the siege and starvation, cold and fear, humiliation and death in the most horrific styles; they are languishing in hotels, they eat and become merry, if they appear on television screens they show sorrow and weep for you and compete with America in attacking the Islamic project. They side with the American camp against the camp of Islam and Muslims. As for what is required of you to do in the face of America’s plots and its allies against you, it is an essential matter. You are the popular base that has the first say in everything that happens, and you alone, so far, have exposed and defeated everyone who have a hand in the conspiracy against you, from the evil America, to its agent the butcher Bashar, to Iran’s intolerance, to Russia’s spitefulness, to the international community conspirator, to the treacherous rulers of the Muslims and especially Turkey, which is not far from you only a stone’s throw and the Gulf rulers who have warehouses stocked with weapons and ammunition, bought for hundreds of billions of dollars… And you have foiled all sly efforts and those continuously conspired against you, you can proclaim that you are against the Geneva II Conference, and you are against the American project and with the Islamic project, and that you are against the National Coalition and succumbing to the commands of America, and you are against the fighting that directs the weapons towards a Shari’ah prohibited target. And know that Allah سبحانه وتعالى has given you an opportunity to bring about change on the basis of the Islamic project and made the presence of the popular base emerge on the basis of Islam and the rule of Islam that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had worked to establish in Medina in which Musab (ra) told the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, “There is no house left in Medina that Islam is not mentioned in it.” And so is the case now in Syria, where there is no house left that the Khilafah and the rule of Islam is not mentioned in it.

O Muslims, believers in Syria of Ash-Sham: Hizb ut Tahrir in Syria, which is following the method of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to establish the Khilafah, calls upon the Muslims in Syria to take their stance in the process of Islamic change that is desired, and address the people of power to unite and direct their arms towards the state of disbelief and to establish the Khilafah state, which extends the hand to them to establish the command of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, He سبحانه وتعالى says:

“You who have iman! Respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to what will bring you to life! Know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that you will be gathered to Him. Be fearful of trials which will not afflict solely those among you who do wrong. Know that Allah is severe in retribution. When you were few and oppressed in the land, afraid that the people would snatch you away, He gave you refuge and supported you with His help and provided you with good things so that hopefully you would be thankful. You who have iman! Do not betray Allah and His Messenger, and do not knowingly betray your trusts. Know that your wealth and children are a trial and that there is an immense reward with Allah. You who have iman! If you have taqwa of Allah, He will give you discrimination and erase your bad actions from you and forgive you. Allah’s favour is indeed immense.”
