Hizb ut Tahrir – The Beloved Of Allah: Brig. Hussam Alawak
#Syria: Brigadier Hussam Alawak explains why he believes that Hizb ut Tahrir are the beloved (Ahbab) of Allah (swt).
“My attention was drawn to a question from someone who asked why I refer to the members of Hizb ut Tahrir as “the beloved of Allah,” so I would like to answer:
In 1999 the air force intelligence received file for Hizb ut Tahrir. An order came directly from Hafez Al-Assad to form one central command to manage the operations related to this file, to arrest their leaders and wipe them out immediately. It was led by the Brigadier Izziddin Ismail and assisted by Brigadier Haitham Saeed, with operations under Colonel Jamil Hassan.
During this time, I was on a foreign mission, and alhamdulilah did not participate in the searches, even though I was the company commander of the regional branch of the telecommunications intelligence, where an arrest warrant was issued for one of the party leaders in the Damascus neighborhood of Baramkeh. It was discovered that he was outside of Syria, in Jordan, and by monitoring the phones we overheard him saying to his wife that he would come to Syria with a foreign passport under a different name. An ambush was set up for him inside his house by Colonel Jamil Hassan, led by Colonel Hemmam Zeina.
At the same time, while Brigadier Izziddin Ismail was acting deputy, he sent Ghassan Tarraf with a reinforced patrol to the house of the leader, as he was sure that he would arrive at his home in the next few hours. When the patrol arrived they disconnected the electricity from the entire building and they proceeded to raid the home.
When Ghassan Tarraf broke down the door, Colonel Hammam mistakenly opened fire on the forces of Ghassan, and the firefight lasted an hour, where Ghassan Tarraf was killed, as was his entire patrol, and the ambush group suffered many deaths as well, while the remaining forces all suffered injuries.
Allah struck the oppressors with the oppressors.
The leader (member of the Hizb) never entered the house, and returned from where he came.
It was the will of Allah (swt), and they are the beloved of Allah. Allah protected them.
Oh Allah I have conveyed the message, so please witness it.”
